In the context of D’un discours qui ne serait pas du semblant/Actors, Networks, Theories, Vincent Bonin presents Gregg Bordowitz’s Fast Trip, Long Drop(1993).
In the spring of 1988, Gregg Bordowitz tested HIV-positive. He then quit drinking and taking drugs and came out to his parents as a gay man. While working on this autobiographical documentary, other tragical events happened in his life challenging his sense of identity, the way he understood his own diagnosis, and the relationships between illness and history.
