In this conversation, we will plot a network of social and sexual bonds between novelists and theorists as they were formed, broken, mended and exploited in the second half of the twentieth century. Approaching the turbulant love affairs of writers such as Michèle Bernstein, Annie Ernaux, Kathy Acker and Chris Kraus, we will plunge into the tangled mess of life, sex and gossip to fashion new tools for détourning the rotten claims of our master thinkers.

This event is organized by La Dernière Mode in conjunction with the exhibition D'un discours qui ne serait pas du semblant / Actors, networks, theories. Part II (curator: Vincent Bonin) presented at Dazibao from September 25 to November 22, 2014.
