Build on dreams. A country. Worlds. Building a life that doesn't exist. That could exist. Building on the memory of a New World. Or another life is an installation project without a physical space. With multiple spaces of presentation. In the intimacy of one's home, wanderings to sublimate the confinement of the body and the mind.
Conversation with the artist about wandering, art and life will be invited throughout the presentation.
Director and producer, Miryam Charles lives in Montreal, while frequently visiting Haiti. She has produced and directed several short and feature-length fiction films as well as experimental shorts. Her films have been presented in numerous festivals in Quebec and internationally.
