Korean Film Festival Canada
Screenings at Dazibao from May 27 to June 3, 2023
As part of the 10th edition of its festival, Korean Film Festival Canada is thrilled to announce a partnership with Dazibao, a 43-year-old contemporary arts centre, for the first-ever in-person program with Gallery East-West (GEW).
This partnership will involve film screenings that are in keeping with KFFC's two-year running theme of Asian Art: Environments of Resilience and Sustainability. The screenings will delve into the complexities of the environment, including physical space, nature, human interactions, ecological communities, social changes, and more.
Originally an online gallery, GEW is moving towards an onsite experience with Dazibao's generous support as we continue to uplift the voices of Asian media artists. We are excited to co-present 30 Asian media arts and short film screenings in tandem with Dazibao.
Join us to discover the exceptional artistry emerging from Canada, the US, Korea, and beyond. Admission to the screenings is free and they will be held at Dazibao's Screening room in the Mile-End area of Montreal, from May 27 to June 3, 2023.
Don't miss the opening of GEW on May 27 at 5:30 pm!
We look forward to seeing you there!
