This exhibition brings together the work of the Swedish duo Hillside Projects (Emily Mennerdahl + Jonas Böttern) relating to the migratory movements of a bird who disappeared from its territory, with a completely new work by Montreal artist Hubert Caron-Guay focusing on the lived experiences of migrants at the border of the United States and Latin America, as well as a 1996 film by Austrian artist Lisl Ponger which explores the diversity of migratory experiences in the form of a travel journal with all its poetic and associative tendencies. The exhibition explores the unique variations surrounding memory and the questions of migration and displacement.
