As part of the exhibitions Rhythm of Numbers by Lisa Lipton and Nothing to Declare by Miko Revereza, Dazibao presents a double feature highlighting both artists. Join us for this casual event and immerse yourself in the world of these two artists!
Lisa Lipton presents short films by Pierre Hébert and Doris Chase, echoing her own works featured in Rhythm of Numbers by a combination of elementary shapes, percussion and rhythm. The screening is followed by a discussion between the artist and the public.
The evening continues with a performance by Miko Revereza, which serves as an extension of his exhibition Nothing to Declare. The performance will explore the relationship between sound, musicality, and the moving image within his filmic work. Echoing his editing process, Revereza engages in a live scrubbing of a repertoire of sounds and images.
