Neón is a cartographic exploration of a Colombian highway reimagined through Google Maps. By taking samples of 30 landscapes and buildings documented on Google Street View, Neón travels all the way from the southernmost to the northernmost points of Colombia. The selected images of buildings and landscapes, mostly composed of nightlife venues and transitory spaces, are transformed into nocturnal, haunting, and foggy vignettes, filled with neon lights.

Santiago Tamayo Soler (b. Bogotá, Colombia 1990) is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in video and performance. Interested in fiction/nonfiction, narrative devices, and live action, Tamayo Soler's work overlays digital footage and modified virtual realities to create pixelated universes home to Latin American, immigrant, queer stories of a radical futuristic fantasy.

Marie Saadeh is a Montreal-based writer from Maryland. She has collaborated on various Dazibao projects in recent years including the Instagram residency with Anna Hawkins and the accompanying publication in 2021.
