CABAC: NEW MOVING IMAGE FROM SCOTLAND

Marking the beginning of its collaboration with LUX, Dazibao is proud to welcome to Montreal the first international screening program prepared by LUX Scotland. Come and meet artists Rob Kennedy and Stina Wirfelt, as well as Luke Collins, Project Manager of LUX Scotland, on Friday April 10th. LUX Scotland is a new part of LUX, the principal distributor of artists’ moving image in Europe. On this occasion, there will be a screening of CABAC: New Moving Image from Scotland, a program of recent work by six exceptional artists who are shaping the form and content of contemporary artists’ moving image in Scotland.

The screening will be followed by a discussion led by Alhena Katsof, a curator and writer based in New York who also teaches at the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College.
